Four Gorillas Lodge is located a few kilometers from the starting point of gorilla trekking at Rushaga sector so tourists staying at this lodge can have a gorilla trekking safari in the park. Rushaga is one of the trekking sectors that are in Bwindi and this sector we find over 7 habituated mountain gorilla families namely Kahungye gorilla family, Kutu gorilla family, Bweza gorilla family, Nshongi gorilla, Bikingi gorilla family, Mucunguzi gorilla family, and Busingye gorilla family. To trek any of these mountain gorilla families, you will need a valid mountain gorilla trekking permit from Uganda Wildlife Authority at a fee.
