Day 1: Start with a pick up from Kigali City go for the Kigali city tour and then drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Day 2:  Morning Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Early Morning gorilla tracking, and return to Kigali city or Kigali International Airport

Today you will start the gorilla tracking activity early in the morning at around 6; am after you have been served with breakfast by the welcoming staff at the lodge, after breakfast, you will arrange your belongings, pack them into your vehicle and wither with your driver, you will drive to the  Mgahinga Gorilla National Park headquarters where you will be instructions to follow while walking into the forest searching for the gorillas and what you can do after seeing the gorillas in their natural habitat. After briefing which is done at the park headquarters, you will be given arrange the guide and this time the gorilla family that you will track and after the journey into the wildness starts. Don’t get surprised because there are other several species that by will see in the forests other than primates as you look for the mountain gorillas and these will include the golden monkeys, olive baboons, and monkeys, and if you’re lucky you might encounter the African forest elephants amidst several species of birds. Mgahinga gorilla national park has got one habituated gorilla family Nyakagezi and it’s the one here that you will be looking for. This activity will take about 6 hours, however, this time depends on the movement of the gorilla family, the availability of food for the gorillas, where the gorillas slept the previous night, and the physical fitness of the people tracking the gorillas. You will have to walk through rugged terrain comprised of forested areas, valleys, and water streams and thus you must be extremely prepared when going to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park to track the endangered mountain gorillas.
