Day 1: Start with a pickup from Kampala or Entebbe and driver to Lake Mburo National park for afternoon game drive and night game watching tour of the park

This is the first day of our 2 Days wildlife safari to Lake Mburo National Park, you will be joined by our professional safari driver who will find you at your hotel on any location agreed upon in Kampala or Entebbe, upon reaching you, he will meet and greet you and explain briefly the highlights of this wonderful tour before you embark on your approximately 4-hour journey to Lake Mburo National Park. The safari journey starts early at around 6 am from your hotel after breakfast.  The journey is so lovely with the first stopover at Kayabwe trading center to have allowed at the equator line and enjoy the photo moments right here, you will get a clear explanation of how the imaginable lines bisect the planet through both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere. A lot of short other activities include making some shopping of the aircraft, visit some of the restaurants for the cup of tea or coffee locally made, and later continue with your journey to Lake Mburo National Park as you transverse through the farms of the Ankole Long-horned cattle.

The moment you arrive at the Lake Mburo National Park, you will be able to check into your lodge, have lunch and drive to Lake Mburo for the boat cruise where you will get an opportunity to see the aquatic life such the Crocodiles and then hippos plus other mammals that come to the Lake for drinking water especially during the hot days. Lake Mburo is a wonderful place to spot several species including the buffaloes, and several others. Once the boat cruise is done, you will return to your lodge and then embark on the night game-watching safari in the park. This is a wonderful activity that will help you to encounters various species missed on Lake Mburo. The evening game drive will lead you to sport several animal species such as the elands, topis, beautiful zebras, impalas, Giraffes, Warthogs, Caped buffaloes, antelopes, and several other species. As if this is not enough, you will as well engage in the night game drive which starts at 7 pm to see what happens in the park during the night to spot the nocturnal animals such as the leopards, porcupine, Leopards, African rock Python, bush babies among other species. Other animals to see during the night game drive include zebras, buffaloes, and several other animals that you might come across. By this tire at around 9 pm, you will drive back to your booked lodge have dinner, and overnight.

Day 2:  Wakeup for the horseback riding Mburo wildness, do the last Game drive and after return to Kampala / Entebbe

On this second day, you will get up early from the bed at around 5am be served with hot cup of coffee from your Lodge after you will now go for the wonderful horse riding that is conducted in the wildness of Lake Mburo National Park. This activity will last for only 2two hours as you enjoy several species in the park which is an astonishing experience that you will need not miss. The horse riding safaris in Lake Mburo National park can be best combined with the nature walks safaris to give visitors a clear and wonderful wildlife experience. The horse riding safaris allow the visitors to access areas where the vehicles cannot reach and yet such areas are rich in wildlife animal species. You will be able to enjoy the wild animals such as the giraffes, zebra’s impala on your close range as you’re on your horse riding. Other animals such as the eland, bushbucks, waterbucks, and buffaloes can also be spotted while on horse riding. In case you still have time, after two hours of thin experience, you will proceed with the game drive to enrich yourself with more animal experience and later explore the Lake Mburo fishing community located inside the park to learn more about the local community and their ways of life including the activities that they engage in, engage with them in fishing and spot some of the fish species caught. After this amazing day, you will drive back to your Lodge have the last lunch in Lake Mburo National Park, and checkout of the hour room.
