Travelers from Rwanda can access the lodge using Katuna border in Kabale which takes 4-5 hours. The lodge is located near Buhoma and Ruhija sector of the park which means travelers can do gorilla trekking in any of the sectors. To trek these endangered primate species, you will need to have a valid gorilla trekking permit issued out by the Uganda Wildlife Authority a body in charge of tourism. The gorilla trekking permits for these sectors cost 700 for foreign non-residents, $600 foreign residents, and shs250,000 citizens of East Africa.
