Detailed itinerary

Our 1 Day Materuni Village Tanzania Safari will start from Moshio or Arusha. After having your breakfast, you will depart from your hotel with our safari guide for Materuni, a small settlement in the Kilimanjaro foothills. It’s a terrific window into the real Tanzania, as it’s a true rural community sans the usual tourist trappings.

The safari will begin with a tour of a local coffee plantation, where you will learn about coffee cultivation and even get the opportunity to roast and grind your own coffee. After that, you’ll go on a guided stroll to Materuni Waterfall. Your stroll will take you past local fruit and vegetable plantations, with your guide providing cultural information along the way.

Before returning to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, you’ll take a refreshing dip in the waterfall pool and have a great picnic lunch to end your 1 Day Materuni Village Tanzania Safari with lots of memories
