1 Day trip to Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage

per person

Yes, our 1 Day trip to Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage will lead you to various destinations, including the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi, and this is the best destination for you to see elephants, especially those that have been rescued at ease. The orphanage conserves and protects the lives of the elephants, and it was set up by the Sheldric Wildlife Trust, which has the track record of establishing the most rehabilitated orphanages for wild animals in the whole world.

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Travel Wildlife Fund moves throughout Kenya to find the orphanage’s orphaned elephants and rhinoceros left to feed for themselves. Many of the orphans recovered had been emaciated and distressed as a result of poaching and human-wildlife conflict. Following each infant rescue, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s nursery, which is tucked inside the Nairobi National Park, begins the long and arduous process of rehabilitation. The DSWT’s assigned a team of elephant keepers to take on the role and responsibility of becoming each orphan’s adopted family during their rehabilitation.) It is here, during this critical phase, that milk-dependent elephant calves are cared for and healed both emotionally and physically by the DSWT’s dedicated team of elephant keepers.
