2-Day Rwanda Gorilla Safari Tour
This 2-day Rwanda gorilla trekking safari tour designed for visitors who are interested in short safaris to see the endangered mountain gorillas. Rwanda is one of only three countries in the whole world where you can find endangered mountain gorillas. Mountain gorillas in Rwanda call Volcanoes National Park home. Our 2-day gorilla trekking safari will bring you close to the endangered gorillas. The endangered mountain gorilla population is also more abundant in Volcanoes National Park. When considering the conservation area that includes Congo’s Virunga National Park, Mgahinga National Park, and Volcanoes National Park, Volcanoes National Park stands out as the park with the highest concentration of endangered mountain gorillas.
Our 2-day Rwanda Gorilla Safari Tour will also allow you to visit the Kigali genocide memorial sites, as well as several scenic views in Rwanda, which has marketed itself as the country of a thousand hills. Our 2-day Rwanda Gorilla safari Tour will start and end in Kigali city. Immediately on your arrival, you will have your morning cup of coffee and thereafter drive to the volcanoes national park at Kinigi for the gorilla trekking briefing session, and afterwards, you will drive to the starting point for the gorillas. After the gorilla briefing, you will be allocated or assigned a gorilla family that you will trek with, and if you don’t want the gorilla family that is very far, we have built a strong relationship with the park staff and we shall talk to them to consider your preference. Otherwise, the gorilla trekking time is not actually known but it may last from 45 minutes to 8 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family to which you have been allocated or given to trek by the park rangers.
