Day 1: Pickup and start with a city tour of Kigali.
After picking you up from the Kigali international airport, we shall drop you off at the hotel in Kigali and later begin the day’s city tour activities, which will include a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, where you will witness the merciless killing of thousands of Rwandan blameless Tutsi in 1994, as well as a visit to the Rwanda Art Museum, before heading out for lunch. The city of Kigali is very interesting, and you will explore several administrative structures, museums, and see the economic activities of the Rwandan people in several districts. The Kigali safari will start by exploring the Kandt House museum, which is also known as the place where Dr. Richard Kandt was tracing the origin of the Nile, and you will continue to learn more about this wonderful destination and Kigali city. After that, we shall drive back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Rubavu to experience Lake Kivu
Today you will leave Kigali at roughly 8:00 a.m. for a three-hour trip to Rubavu. We will check-in and have lunch at Inzu Lodge after arriving there and have lunch and short conversation. After lunch, we’ll head to Kivu public beach for a relaxing swim, canoeing, or kayaking along the lake. In general, we’ll return to Inzu Hold for supper and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Return to Kigali
Get up early in the morning for breakfast, and then join us for a 3-hour tour of Rubavu City to learn about the city’s foundations. Following our city tour, we couldn’t leave without stopping by the Nyamyumba Hot Water Spring, which is only a 30-minute drive from the city. Following that, we’ll have lunch and check out as we prepare to travel to Kigali in the early evening. In Rubavu, the management of a 3-Day Lake Kivu Holiday experience has come to a close.
