Day 1: Depart from your hotel for Volcanoes National Park.

Our 3-Day Rwanda Cultural Tour and Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park will begin with you arriving at Kigali International Airport, where the Africa Adventure Vacations limited representatives will come and meet you at the airport for a meet and greet interaction. Following this encounter, you will board your vehicle and begin a two-to-three-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park at your lodge. Day 2. Explore the Iby’Iwacu cultural village.

This village symbolizes the Rwandan culture. We shall start the day today with the early morning breakfast that will be served by your lodge. After a good breakfast, you will board your vehicle and drive to Iby’Iwacu cultural village for the full experience of the Rwandan cultural tradition, which has been in place since the colonial period. This is the best place to experience the amazing cultural experiences in Rwanda. You will get involved in the local people’s daily activities and have the opportunity to taste the food provided and well-made by the local people and also have the locally made wine. You can also participate in preparing all these local foods. After that, you will now join the cultural and traditional performance group, where you will be involved in several activities such as storytelling, dancing, and singing. Later, you will sleep in the traditional hut to fully enjoy the cultural tour. On this day, you will spend the whole night in the local community.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking- Ends the safari.

Remember that you stayed in the local community, so you will wake up and have the locally prepared breakfast by the traditional Rwandan locals before you get into your vehicle and drive to the volcanoes’ national park headquarters for the gorilla trekking briefing. Once you have arrived at the park headquarters, you will be briefed about the gorilla trekking activity and, afterward, you will carry on with the gorilla trekking activity.
