This 3 Days Samburu Adventure Safari Package will make you explore the Samburu National Reserve in Kenya and you will drive to the Ewaso River where this wonderful reserve is found in the magical Kenya. Visitors on our 3-day Samburu Holiday safari can expect to see a variety of interesting features, such as water and trees, which provide an ideal environment for the animals, particularly elephants. Remember that Samburu is known as the destination for elephants in Kenya, and apart from elephants, the place still offers wonderful animals of interest that include lions, giraffes, zebras, and others that are regularly spotted. All three big cats, including cheetahs, lions, and leopards, are easily visible in the Samburu National Reserve. Still, Samburu is home to several pastoralists of samburu tribe, and if you have enough time, you can walk to the cultural tribes for cultural encounters. The river Ewaso Ng’iro flows along the southern limit of Samburu, and it is home to several animals, including crocodiles and hippos, as well as many other creatures who come to drink during the day. The Beisa oryx, long-necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and blue-shanked Somali ostrich are just a few of the game species found alone in Samburu.

Day 1: Leave Nairobi for Samburu National Reserve.

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi and begin the drive to Samburu National Reserve, passing through the Kenyan frontier district and stopping to admire the magnificent vistas of the Great Rift Valley before entering the Samburu National Reserve. Samaburu is a wonderful destination featuring parched savannahs bathed by the wonderful river Ewaso Ng’iro. Samburu is fiercely gorgeous and wild. It’s also one of Kenya’s most protected locations, home to reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, Beisa oryx, gerenuk gazelles, and larger and lesser kudus, as well as other species found exclusively north of the equator. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and check-in at the lodge of your choice, then relax for a few minutes before embarking on the reserve’s first exhilarating game drive, where you will spot anything that calls Samburu National Reserve its home, including animals such as the gerenuk, zebras, and cheetahs, among other wonderful animals, till the sun sets, after which you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and sleep.

Day 2: Full-day game drive in Samburu.

Today we shall have one full day in the wild of Samburu National Reserve, but before that, we shall first have a good breakfast that will give us energy to start our journey of exploring the Samburu National Reserve. After breakfast, we shall now prepare to leave for the beauty, the challenges and opportunities within the Samburu Reserve. We shall depart for the Samburu wildlife sightings in the Reserve, where you will see several animal species before you relax, have your picnic lunch, and proceed with the game drive. The rest of the day is free for you to do anything you choose. The 104-square-kilometer Samburu Game Reserve is located in Kenya. The Ololokwe Table Mountain provides a stunning backdrop for our game viewing. The uncommon Reticulated Giraffe is found exclusively in Samburu, Kenya’s third giraffe species (also found in the Northern Parks). The Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle, and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope may also be found here. Later, you will return to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning game drive followed by a drive back to Nairobi.

Today is our last day of our 3-day Samburu Holiday safari. And you will wake up early in the morning, enjoy breakfast and then the fog or the final game drive with the reserve different from day to day in terms of wildlife seen and vegetation based on the prevailing conditions. After the game drive, you will go back to the lodge, checkout and drive back to Nairobi at your hotel or airport. This makes the end of your 3 Days Samburu Adventure Safari Package.

Travelers with extra days can extend their trip to explore Maasai of Maji Moto from Nairobi and also other Kenya safari destinations.
