Day 2; Morning Eastern Lowland Gorilla Tracking experience

You will be picked up by our driver guide from our hotel in the morning and taken to the park headquarters for briefing meaning that you have to wake up early in the morning such that you can be served your breakfast early before being transferred to the park offices for briefing. You will be briefed about what you are going to do, what to expect with the gorilla tracking, and the history of the Kahuzi-Biega National Park. After the briefing, the ranger guides will allocate you to one of the habituated eastern lowland gorillas groups and set off for trekking.  The gorilla trekking experience lasts for only one hour however you might even spend about four days looking for the gorillas depending on the location. Once you discover them, you’ve only one hour of their presence earlier than you leave.
