Looking to book 7 Days Kenya safari to Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara National Reserve? The afternoon is then ours to explore the vastness of Samburu and the nearby Shaba and Buffalo Springs reserves on game drives. The park is home to approximately 1,000 elephants, so expect to see many of them. Our Samburu safari lodge or tented camp will host dinner and a pleasant evening.

Day 2: A full day of wildlife viewing in Samburu National Reserve.

This is your day to go on an infinite number of game drives. However, you may arrange some downtime at your lodging. Just talk to your driver/guide about it. You are in charge of creating the safari of your dreams. We’ll go to the Ewaso Nyriro River’s banks, where the park’s hungry animals congregate for water. Game viewing is active and diverse in this area. The “Samburu Special Five” — the Grevy’s Zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx — are reported to be spotted in Samburu. The steep topography of this huge park is also home to African wild dogs. The adjacent Shaba and Buffalo Springs Reserves have a bit more vegetation, as well as lava terraces and other volcanic landforms. We may also visit the Samburu people, who are the indigenous people of this historic area. These indigenous tribes, related to the Maasai, may be met, and their lifestyles and residences can be seen up close. After that, you will return to the lodge for an overnight stay.

We’ll stop along the way to see the whirling mists of Thompson’s Falls at Nyahururu. Take in the serene lake and its surroundings—waterfalls, acacia bush, forested hills, and towering rock escarpments—as you arrive at Lake Nakuru. Flamingos, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks, and eagles are among the park’s many bird species. Aside from that, its acacia forests are home to baboons, monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and white rhinos along the seashore. A large population of black rhinos lives in this particular reserve. When you first arrive in the park and see the rolling hills, you’ll be filled with anticipation as your guide tells you about the many lion prides and other abundant species that call the Mara home. Day 5: Spend the entire day on a game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve.

This is a day to do as much or as little exploring as you choose, although you may also rest at your hotel. Simply talk to your guide; he’ll always be able to offer advice. If you visit between July and October, you’ll be able to see the Great Migration, an annual event in which countless herds of wildebeests, zebra, and gazelle migrate into the Mara in search of water and grass. We’ll go down to the Mara River to see the hippos and crocodiles that live there. Large numbers of predators like lions and cheetahs are also waiting for the moving herds. Nature’s drama may sometimes be witnessed in all of its ferocious intensity right in front of our eyes. Take advantage of an optional hot air balloon safari above the dawning park to add to the drama of your Africa safari. Rise with the sun till the Mara’s grandeur is fully seen below. It was an incredible experience. We provide an optional visit to a nearby community to give your safari some cultural depth. Meet the Maasai people, learn about their traditional way of life, and possibly purchase some of their handicrafts and brilliant beading.
