Day 1; Arrival, pick and drive to your booked hotel in Kigali

Our 7 Days Rwanda Gorilla Wildlife and Cultural Tour starts today with your arrival at Kigali International Airport and here you will be picked by Africa adventure vacations Limited representatives together with the safari guide for a meet and greet encounter and later you will be briefed on your itinerary and be driven to your booked hotel in Kigali where you will be picked the following morning for a day’s safari activity.

Day 2: Pick up from your hotel in Kigali and drive to Akagera National Park- Afternoon game drive in the park.

Today is our 2^nd day of  your 7 Days Rwanda Gorilla Wildlife and Cultural Tour, where you will wake early in the morning prepare yourself, have your breakfast and by the time you finish your breakfast,   your safari guide, will be waiting for you outside your hotel , get into the car and start the journey to Akagera National Park. Akagera National Park is close to Rwanda Tanzania Border and a you drive to the park, you will be amazed by the various scenes and the beautiful sceneries of Rwanda’s landscapes as well as meeting the Rwanda people as they are doing their own business. You will reach in the park in time and check in at your booked lodge, have lunch and short relation and after this short relaxation, you will embark on the after game drive where you will get a chance to spot animals such as the elephants, buffaloes among others. You will as well spot some of the bird species in the park before you return back to your lodge for dinner and  overnight stay and this will the memorable day that you will ever had on an African safari.

Day 3; Early Morning Game drive   and the afternoon Lake Ihema Boat cruise in Akagera National Park

Today is a fully packed safari day in Akagera National Park. our day will start early in the morning  with the a cup of tea which will be served to you by the well trained service providers and after, you will proceed to the  jungle the game to spot more wildlife of Akagera National Park. We wake up early such that we can have the chance to spot the early morning risers and the cats such as the lions and leopards as they go to their hideouts. We hope that this game drive will be rewarding with the wonderful views of the herd of elephants, buffaloes, the impala, the rhinos, the topis, zebras, bush bucks among other several animals species, as time goes, you will return back to the lodge after spending like four hours in the game drive in the Akagera wildness. At the hotel, you will have short relaxation and later have lunch.  After lunch, you will drive to Lake Ihema to participate in the boat cruise where you get close to various a quantic and land species such the crocodiles, the hippos and several bird species that will be spotted. After the two to three hours of the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3; Drive to Volcanoes National Park

After the early morning game drive, you will check out from the lodge, pack your belongings into the vehicle and transfer to Volcanoes National Park.  we shall again forest drive back to the Kigali city where we shall have lunch and visit the Kigali genocide memorial site where you will learn more about the genocide that happened in Rwanda in 1994 and the reason for its cause as well as the consequences and how people have united and reconciliation was enforced to ensure that Rwanda now is peaceful as of now. After visiting the genocide memorial site, you will now drive to Volcanoes National Park as you will pass through the terraced hilly areas of Rwanda and really you will appreciate that Rwanda land with several hills up to 1000 hills. Volcanoes National is the home to the endcenegered mountain gorillas. We shall about 2 to 3 hours from Kigali city to Volcanoes National Park. Arrive in volcanoes National and check into your hotel.

Day 4: Volcanoes National Park Gorilla trekking

This activity is the highlight of our 7 Days Rwanda Gorilla Wildlife and Cultural Tour, you will wake up early in the morning have breakfast, pack snacks without leaking your bottled water behind and your safari guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to the Kinigi park headquarters for briefing on how the gorilla trekking experience will be conducted, this briefing is provided by the park staff and alter after briefing you will be driven to the starting point. Here the gorilla trekking experience starts. Remember that the park administration forest send a team of trackers to ascertain the location of the gorilla family that you will trek and after they trace it, they communicate to the headwaters and then the trekking starts. This saves time and increased the chance the visitors to see the endangered gorillas. You will be allowed only one hour to see the gorillas and once the one hour is done, then you will return to the starting pint and later be driven back to the lodge and this marks the end of the gorilla trekking experience. At the lodge you will have the delicious lunch and after lunch, you may decide to take a nature walk and enjoy the twin lakes of the Burera and Ruhondo and after return to the lodge for the dinner and the overnight stay.

Day 6; Golden monkey tracking experience

Still in Rwanda the rare golden monkeys are located in volcanoes national park and thus the gorilla trekking experience will be followed by the golden monkey tracking in the next day.  The same procedure for gorilla trekking will be followed and the after breakfast, you will be taken park to the park headquarters for the golden monkey tracking briefing and later walk into the jungle you look out for the golden monkey tracking. The golden monkey are so much active as compared to the mountain gorillas and you will spend around 3 to 4 hours trekking golden monkeys. Upon seeing them, you will take photos and please feel free to ask the guides any question that you want to ask to the guide because they are there to make sure that your expectations were meet and later after the golden monkeys, you will return back to the lodge have lunch and after lunch, check out and drive to Kigali city for the dinner and the overnight stay.

Day 7.  Kigali city tour and transfer to Kigali International Airport
