You will go to Akagera public park for an Akagera visit and participate in activities such as bird watching, boating, game drives, and wildlife viewing, before moving on to a calm social home to participate in activities such as encircling the cow.

Day 1: Our 8 days Rwanda Culture, Nyungwe, Volcanoes, and Akagera Safari will start with a pick up from Kigali International Airport.
This Rwanda social, Nyungwe, volcano, and Akagera tour will begin on the day you arrive at Kigali’s worldwide airport. Our punctual driver will pick you up and transport you directly to your inn. Here you will be picked by Africa Adventure Vacations Limited representatives together with the safari guide for a meet and greet encounter. Later, you will be briefed on your safari itinerary and be driven to your booked hotel in Kigali, where you will be picked up the following morning for the day’s safari activities.

Day 2: Take a city tour of Kigali.
After you have finished your morning breakfast, which is served by your hotel, the Africa Adventure Vacation safari guide will drive you to begin the day’s activities, which will include a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, where you will witness the merciless killing of thousands of Rwandan blameless Tutsi in 1994, as well as a visit to the Rwanda Art Museum, before heading out for lunch. After lunch, take a journey to the eastern side of the country to see Reconciliation Town, where the perpetrators of genocide coexist with the survivors of genocide.

Day 3: Drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Today, you will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast that is served by the hotel, and then drive to Butare, which is the next city in Rwanda, after Kigali, and is home to several historic and cultural sites. Here you will be able to visit several institutions of learning, including the museums, the research institute, and the university. As you drive, you will make an enroute stopover to explore the Nyanza housing, which is known as the kings’ palace, and enjoy other interesting places such as the woodcarvings, basketry, and other handcrafted species. After that, you will drive to Butare city in the afternoon, where you will make a stopover for lunch. Later, after lunch, you will drive to Nyungwe and check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Canopy walks and Gisakura Culture encounters
Here you have the morning breakfast, which you will have at the lodge, and later you will drive to the Uwinka Overlook to enjoy the canopy walks that will engage you in the nature walk safari that will last for 4 hours. Please overlook the overhang pathways, which will take you on a three-hour nature trek (all through the woodland). Journey back to the hotel for lunch, then set out in the evening for a drive to Gisakura to learn about their unique culture. Then, after that, drive to the lodge for the night. Day 5: Hike to Kamiranzovu water falls
Continue to Nyungwe Forest National Park headquarters, pick up your aid, and drive to the beginning stage to take a stroll through nature to reach the cascade with your aid. We will walk through various types of trees and shrubs until we arrive at a beautiful waterfall that originates from the Kamiranzovu wetland. From there, we will travel to Musanze City, where you will spend the night stay as you prepare yourself for gorilla trekking in the morning.
Day 6: Volcano gorilla trekking experience and afternoon visit to gorilla veterinary
Today you have a heavy breakfast in the morning, and after that, you drive to the Volcanoes National Park, which is located in Musanze district. You will drive straight to the park headquarters to receive a briefing about the gorilla trekking experience. This is the time when you also know which gorilla family you will be able to trek with on this particular day and the guides that you will move with. After that, walk into the woods and search for mountain gorillas, starting where they were the day before until you find them. You’ll see them going about their daily lives, such as taking care of their children, climbing trees, and simply unwinding. After you’ve switched off your sparkle, take your best photographs. This entire activity should take no more than one hour, after which you should return to the recreation area offices for your gorilla after declaration. Return to your accommodation for lunch and some relaxation. Return to the cabin for supper and short-term after an evening journey to the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project to acknowledge the growing efforts to observe the efforts going in place for the mountain gorillas.

Day 7: Cultural encounters and the historical safari
Ascend as soon as possible in the morning and eat your breakfast. Get instructions from our driving guide on how to drive to Volcanoes Park before setting out on the route to where the climb begins. A social and notable tour begins with a visit to Dian Fossey’s tomb at the Karisoke research center, where she spent over two decades studying mountain gorillas before being slain by poachers. You might come across a lot of untamed life when traveling to and from Karisoke through the volcanic pinnacles of Karisimbi and Bisoke. This excursion will take an entire day, and you will return to your inn for lunch before heading out to explore Iby’iwacu social town in the evening. Day 8: Visit the golden monkeys before returning to Kigali.
